Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Graduation or equivalent in science/relevant field from a recognized University with three years’ work experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in relevant field from a recognized university.
• Desirable Qualification: Experience in magnetic resonance imaging.

Salary/ Stipend

• Consolidated Salary: Rs 28,000/- + HRA (as applicable)

Age Limit (as on 27 January 2026)

• Upper Age Limit: 30 Years

Selection Process

• Eligible candidates will be called for interview through email.
• Interview will be held at AIIMS Kalyani.
• Decision of the Selection Committee at AIIMS Kalyani regarding selection of candidates will be final.

General Information / Instructions

• It is candidates' responsibility to ascertain and ensure their eligibility as per the prescribed qualification and experience.
• The assignments are purely on contract basis for a period of 6 months (which may be extended till completion of the project as per approval from competent authority / ICMR).
• These appointments will not vest any right to claim by the candidate for regular appointment or permanent absorption in AIIMS, Kalyani/ICMR or continued contractual appointment.
• The contract will automatically expire on completion of 6 months or earlier in case of withdrawal of support by funding agency.
• The contractual appointment can be terminated at any time by either side by giving 30 days' notice or salary in lieu thereof.
• Leave entitlement shall be governed in terms of the ICMR leave policy as amended from time to time.
• No hostel or any other accommodation will be provided by the institute.
• Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
• The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection.
• Applications incomplete in any aspect will be summarily rejected.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Information pertaining to this advertisement will be displayed on the AIIMS website i.e. https://aiimskalyani.edu.in/.
• No individual intimation will be sent by AIIMS Kalyani to applicants. It will be the responsibility of applicants to visit the institute website.
• No other allowance/facilities other than consolidated emoluments/salary shall be admissible.
• The selected candidates shall be employed under ICMR Project in Department of Psychiatry, AIIMS Kalyani and will NOT be under direct pay-role of AIIMS Kalyani.
• All disputes will be subjected to the jurisdictions of the court of law at Kolkata.
• The appointment is full time and private practice of any type is prohibited.
