AIIMS Kalyani Tutor (Non-Academic) Recruitment 2026 Vacancy Details 

* Tenure post on contract for a maximum period of 1 year.

Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualification for Tutor (Medical):
  • MBBS from a recognized University/Institute.
• Essential Qualification for Tutor (Non-Medical), as applicable:
  • Master’s degree in the concerned specialty from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Biochemistry: M.Sc (Medical Biochemistry).
  • Anatomy: M.Sc (Human Anatomy).
• Candidates must possess educational qualifications and experience recognized by Government of India; candidature will be cancelled if qualification/experience is not recognized.
• Experience, wherever prescribed, shall be counted after obtaining prescribed qualification and up to date of publishing notification on Institute website.

Salary/Stipend

• Pay Scale for Tutor: Rs. 15,600–39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5,400 (6th CPC).
• Corresponding Level 10 of the Pay Matrix of the Seventh Pay Commission.
• NPA admissible for medical graduates as per rules.
• Posts carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees of similar status at Kalyani, West Bengal.
• HRA applicable as per Central Government rules if residential accommodation is not provided, subject to availability constraints.

Age Limit 

• Maximum age limit for Tutor: Not exceeding 30 years as on the date of publishing this notification in the Institute website.
• No age relaxation available to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies.
• Age relaxation permissible for PwD (OPH): 10 years beyond upper age limit.
• Age relaxation for other categories will be applicable as per DoPT instructions; regulated in accordance with Government of India rules.

Application Fee

• Application Fees: Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only).
• For Unreserved/OBC/EWS candidates: Rs. 1,000/- via Demand Draft in favour of “AIIMS KALYANI INTERNAL RESOURCES ACCOUNT” payable at Kalyani.
• No fee for SC/ST candidates of any community.
• Application fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
• Applications without prescribed fee will not be considered and will be summarily rejected.

Important Dates

Selection Process

• Mode of Selection: Based on reporting, interview will be conducted after verifying applications and requisite documents of candidates.
• Selection will be based solely on performance in the walk-in interview.
• Merit list (selected and waiting list) for all categories will be prepared on basis of personal interview.
• If vacancies arise due to non-joining or resignation, posts will be offered to candidates from waiting list according to merit.
• Qualification, experience, age etc. will be counted up to date of publishing notification on Institute website.
• Final result will be displayed on AIIMS Kalyani website; no TA/DA/accommodation will be paid for appearing in interview.

General Information/Instructions

• All posts carry usual allowances for Central Government employees of similar status at Kalyani, West Bengal.
• 4% of total vacancies are horizontally reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) – OPH (OL) as per rules; physical requirements: Sitting, Standing, Walking, Manipulation by Fingers, Reading & Writing.
• Reservation will be as per Government of India policy; candidates under reserved category must produce appropriate certificates; only persons with at least 40% physical disability are eligible under OH quota.
• Tutor posts are governed by CCS (Temporary Service) Rules; they are whole-time and private practice of any kind is prohibited.
• Tenure: Tutor is a tenure post on contract for a maximum period of 1 year; period of experience counted after obtaining prescribed educational qualification.
• Candidates must satisfy all eligibility criteria; educational qualifications and experience must be recognized by Government of India; otherwise candidature will be cancelled at any stage.
• Applicants already in service must produce No Objection Certificate from present employer at time of interview; prior permission from employer is required while applying.
• AIIMS Kalyani reserves the right to vary vacancies, increase/decrease posts, relax qualifications/experience in exceptional cases, amend/cancel advertisement and change selection process without assigning reasons.
• Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected; canvassing of any kind will be a disqualification; candidates should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
• All disputes will be subject to jurisdiction of Court of Law at Kalyani.

How to Apply

• Download/obtain the prescribed application form for Tutor (Non-Academic) as attached with the advertisement.
• Fill the application form in block letters with personal details, contact information, category, educational qualifications and work experience.
• Prepare Demand Draft of Rs. 1,000/- (if applicable) in favour of “AIIMS KALYANI INTERNAL RESOURCES ACCOUNT” payable at Kalyani and fill fee details in the form.
• On the day of interview, bring the filled application form along with original documents and two sets of self-attested photocopies of all relevant certificates (age, qualification, experience, category, disability etc.).
• Report at the Administrative Building, 1st Floor, Committee Room of AIIMS Kalyani, Pin – 741245, by 09:00 Hrs on 03.02.2026; document verification starts at 09:30 Hrs; interview from 10:00 Hrs onward.
• Candidates reporting after 10:00 AM will not be allowed to appear in the interview.
