Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification
- Project Research Scientist-1 (Non-Medical): Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees, in Life Sciences. Hands-on experience in bacterial culture and molecular biology techniques such as nucleic acid isolation and PCR is desirable.
- Project Technical Support-II: 10Th pass + Diploma (MLT/DMLT/ITI or equivalent) with 2 years' relevant experience, OR a 3-year Graduate degree in a relevant subject with 1 year of relevant experience. Experience in media preparation and reagent handling is desirable.
Age Limit (As on last date of application)
- Project Research Scientist-1 (Non-Medical): Below 35 years
- Project Technical Support-II: Below 30 years
- Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC and departmental candidates as per government rules
AIIMS Bhopal Salary Structure 2026
- Project Research Scientist-1 (Non-Medical): Rs. 56,000/- + 20% HRA (Rs. 11,200/-) = Rs. 67,200/- consolidated per month
- Project Technical Support-II: Rs. 20,000/- + 20% HRA (Rs. 4,000/-) = Rs. 24,000/- consolidated per month
Selection Process for AIIMS Bhopal Recruitment 2026
- Interview by the Selection Committee
- If more than 30 eligible candidates apply for a post, a written test of 20 MCQs (20 marks) will be conducted on the day of the interview
- Qualifying marks in the written test: 35% for SC/ST and 40% for UR/OBC/EWS
- Top 5 candidates in the written test (per post) will be called for interview
- Final merit is based on combined written test and interview marks (or interview marks alone if fewer than 30 candidates appear)
Scheme of Examination and Syllabus
Where applicable, the written test will comprise 20 Multiple Choice Questions worth 20 marks, covering subject knowledge relevant to the post applied for, including Life Sciences/Microbiology fundamentals for the Research Scientist post and laboratory/technical concepts (media preparation, reagent handling, MLT/DMLT subjects) for the Technical Support post. No separate detailed syllabus has been notified.
Registration and Examination Fee
There is no application fee for this recruitment. Candidates are also not entitled to any TA/DA for attending the interview/written test.
