    Central Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 – Apply Online for 4500 Posts

    Central Bank of India, a leading Public Sector Bank with a PAN INDIA network of over 4,500 branches, has officially released the Central Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 notification for the engagement of 4,500 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Graduate candidates registered on the NATS portal can apply online from 12 June 2026 to 22 June 2026. The online examination is tentatively scheduled in the 1st week of July 2026. Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000 for a training period of 12 months.

    Note: PwBD (VI/HI/OH/ID) reservation is on a horizontal basis: 45 seats each for VI, HI, OH, and ID categories within the overall 4,500 seats. The number of vacancies is provisional and may vary as per the Bank's actual requirements.

    Eligibility Criteria – Central Bank of India Apprentice 2026-27

    Nationality

    Candidates must be a Citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India (subject to eligibility certificate from Government of India).

    Educational Qualification (as on 31 May 2026)

    • Candidates must hold a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a University/Institution recognised by the Government of India.
    • Graduation must have been completed on or after 01 January 2022.
    • Candidates must be registered on the NATS portal (https://nats.education.gov.in) before applying.
    • Candidates who have undergone Apprenticeship earlier (in Central Bank of India or any other establishment) are NOT eligible.
    • Candidates with 1 year or more of job experience/training after their graduation are NOT eligible.
    • Ex-Servicemen and Disabled Ex-Servicemen are NOT eligible for Apprentice engagement.

    Candidates must have been born not earlier than 31 May 1998 and not later than 31 May 2006 (for General/EWS category). OBC creamy layer candidates are not entitled to OBC reservation and must apply under the General category.

    Stipend / Salary – Central Bank of India Apprentice 2026-27

    Selected apprentices will receive a fixed monthly stipend of ₹15,000 per month for the entire 12-month engagement period. No other allowances or benefits are payable. Apprentices are entitled to:

    • Bank holidays as observed by the Bank
    • One casual leave per month during the apprenticeship period

    Apprentices are not employees of the Bank. They will not be entitled to any employee benefits, transport facilities, or residential accommodation. No obligation exists on the Bank's part to offer employment after completion of training.

    Selection Process – Central Bank of India Apprentice 2026-27

    1. Online Examination: Objective type test conducted by BFSI SSC from the candidate's own device/residence (no admit card required). Total 100 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes duration.
    2. Test of Local Language: Conducted after qualifying the online exam. Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, understanding) in the official language of the state applied for. Candidates who have studied the local language at 10th or 12th standard are exempted.
    3. Document Verification: Conducted at the Bank's Regional/Zonal Office for candidates who qualify the written test and language test.
    4. Medical Fitness: Final engagement is subject to the candidate being declared medically fit by a qualified medical practitioner as per the Bank's requirements.

    Merit: Selection is based purely on marks obtained in the online examination. In case of a tie, candidates with a higher age are ranked first. No negative marking for wrong answers.

    2. View the Advertisement on NATS: After login, visit https://nats.education.gov.in/student_type.php to view the Central Bank of India Apprenticeship Advertisement.
    3. Register on BEEP Portal: After applying on NATS, you will receive an email from BFSI SSC (info@bfsissc.com) inviting you to register at https://beep.bfsissc.com to complete the final application process.
    4. Fill in Application Details: On the BEEP portal, provide your caste category, choice of districts for training, and other required details accurately.
    5. Pay Application Fee: Pay the requisite fee through online mode on the BEEP portal.
    6. Upload Documents: Upload photograph, signature, Date of Birth proof, graduation certificate, category certificates (if applicable), and PwBD certificate (if applicable).
    7. Submit & Take Printout: Submit the application and download/print a copy for future reference. No changes are permitted after final submission.

    Important: Candidates must ensure they are registered on NATS portal before applying. Applications without NATS registration are not valid. Only one application per candidate is permitted — multiple applications will result in forfeiture of fees.
