Eligibility Criteria for TGPSC HMWSSB Manager (Engineering) 2026
Educational Qualification (As on 18-09-2026)
Candidates must possess a Graduate Degree in Engineering, with vacancies distributed as follows:
- 80% of posts: Civil Engineering
- 15% of posts: Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- 5% of posts: CSE / IT / ECE Engineering
Age Limit (As on 01-07-2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 44 Years (raised from 34 to 44 years as per G.O.Ms.No.86)
- Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/BC/EWS, 10 years for PwBD, and additional relaxation for Government Employees, Ex-Servicemen, and NCC Instructors

Selected candidates will draw a monthly pay scale of ₹54,220 – ₹1,33,630, along with allowances applicable under Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board Service Regulations.
Selection Process for TGPSC HMWSSB Manager (Engineering) 2026
- Written Examination (Objective Type) – conducted via OMR-based Offline mode or Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT)

Scheme of Examination & Syllabus
Paper-I: General Studies and General Abilities – 150 questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes (Bilingual: English and Telugu), covering Current Affairs, General Science, Indian and Telangana History/Geography/Polity, Reasoning, and Basic English.
Paper-II: Concerned Subject (Degree Level) – 150 questions, 300 marks, 150 minutes (English medium), based on the candidate's Engineering branch (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, ECE, or CSE/IT).
Total Marks: 450. Qualifying marks: 40% for OC/Sportspersons/EWS, 35% for BCs, and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD.
Application Processing Fee: ₹1,000/- for OC & BC applicants; ₹500/- for SC, ST, and PwD applicants.
Examination Fee: ₹120/-. Unemployed applicants are exempted; Government employees must pay the fee.
