    CAPFs Medical Officer Selection Board (MOSB) 2025 Recruitment – Apply Online

    The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) Medical Officer Selection Board (MOSB)-2025, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has released a notification for 282 posts of Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second-in-Command), Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant) and Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant) in BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles. Eligible medical graduates and specialists can apply online from 10 August 2026 to 08 September 2026 through the ITBP Recruitment website.

    Eligibility Criteria for CAPFs MOSB 2025

    Educational Qualification

    Medical Officer (Assistant Commandant): A recognized medical qualification of the allopathic system (MBBS or equivalent) with Permanent registration from MCI/NMC/State Medical Council and completion of compulsory rotating internship.

    Specialist Medical Officer (Deputy Commandant): The above MBBS-level qualification plus a Postgraduate (PG) Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty, with one and a half years' experience after the PG Degree or two and a half years after the PG Diploma.

    Super Specialist Medical Officer (Second-in-Command): MBBS plus a PG Degree/Diploma in the related specialty, plus a Doctorate of Medicine (DM) or Magister Chirurgiae (M.Ch) or equivalent with three years' experience in the concerned super-specialty after the first postgraduate degree.

    Age Limit (as on the closing date, 08.09.2026)

    • Super Specialist Medical Officer (Second-in-Command): Maximum 50 years
    • Specialist Medical Officer (Deputy Commandant): Maximum 40 years
    • Medical Officer (Assistant Commandant): Maximum 30 years
    • Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), Government servants (5 years) and other categories as per Government of India rules

    CAPFs MOSB 2025 Salary Structure

    • Medical Officer (Assistant Commandant): Level-10, ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500
    • Specialist Medical Officer (Deputy Commandant): Level-11, ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700
    • Super Specialist Medical Officer (Second-in-Command): Level-12, ₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200
    • Plus Non-Practicing Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance and other admissible allowances

    Selection Process for CAPFs MOSB 2025

    1. Documentation & screening of online applications
    2. Interview (200 marks; minimum qualifying 40%)
    3. Physical Standard Test (PST) – height, chest measurement
    4. Medical Examination Test (MET) – including eyesight, colour vision and general fitness

    Application Fee

    Male candidates belonging to General (UR), OBC and EWS categories must pay ₹400/- through the online payment gateway. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Ex-Servicemen and all female candidates are exempted from the application fee. Fee once paid is non-refundable.
