Eligibility Criteria for IOCL Executive Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification
Graduate Engineer: Full-time regular B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in the prescribed Engineering discipline with minimum 65% marks for General/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Officer (Marketing): Full-time regular MBA or AIU-equivalent PG Diploma in Business Administration with Marketing Management specialization. Minimum 60% for General/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD.
Officer (Law): Graduate degree plus LLB or a 5-year integrated LLB. Minimum 60% for General/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD. The LLB must be recognized by the Bar Council of India.
Assistant Quality Control Officer: Master's degree in Chemistry or the specified Chemistry branches, with minimum 60% for General/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD.
Diploma Engineer: Three-year Diploma in the prescribed engineering discipline with minimum 65% for General/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD.

Age is counted as on 01 July 2026. Relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved categories and ex-servicemen/commissioned officers as per the notification and Government of India rules.
Experience
Law Officer candidates require at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification professional experience as specified by IOCL. Assistant Quality Control Officer candidates require at least 2 years of relevant cumulative post-qualification experience in the prescribed laboratory/testing/quality-control areas. No mandatory post-qualification experience is specified for the Graduate Engineer, Marketing Officer and Diploma Engineer posts.

Selection Process for IOCL Recruitment 2026
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Group Discussion (GD) and Group Task (GT)
- Personal Interview (PI)
- Document Verification and medical/physical fitness requirements
The final merit list uses weighted scores of CBT (85%), GD/GT (5%) and Personal Interview (10%). Candidates must also satisfy the prescribed qualifying and composite-score requirements.
