Eligibility Criteria for IIEST Shibpur PoP Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification
A formal academic qualification may not be considered essential for this position if the candidate has exemplary professional practice in lieu. Distinguished experts with remarkable contributions in their profession and proven expertise in their specific field or role are eligible.
Experience
- At least 20 years of service/professional experience
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership position (for example, Executive Director, CEO, President)
- Must remain current with best practices and emerging technological trends in the development sector
- Should possess skills to carry out duties and responsibilities similar to a regular Professor
- Not open to candidates currently serving in, or retired from, the Teaching profession
Age Limit
No specific minimum or maximum age is prescribed for eligibility. However, the total tenure as Professor of Practice at the institute cannot continue beyond the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.
IIEST Shibpur PoP Salary Structure 2026
- IIEST-funded engagement: Consolidated remuneration of up to ₹1,00,000/month may be offered
- Industry-funded engagement: Remuneration mutually agreed between the industry and the expert
- Honorary engagement: No remuneration; the position is on an honorary basis
Selection Process for IIEST Shibpur PoP Recruitment 2026
