Eligibility Criteria for NIT Durgapur JRF/SRF Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a BE/B.Tech with a valid GATE score in EE/CSE/ECE/EIE, or an ME/M.Tech in EE/CSE/ECE/EIE or a similar circuit branch. Desirable research experience areas include Partial Discharge Monitoring, Ultra High Frequency sensors, and High Voltage Test Techniques, along with programming skills in C#, .NET, Embedded C/C++, FPGA (Verilog), and PCB design.
Age Limit

NIT Durgapur JRF/SRF Salary Structure 2026
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): ₹37,000/month + HRA (as per institute norms)
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): ₹42,000/month + HRA (as per institute norms)
Emoluments are as per the ANRF/DST circular No. DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated 26 June 2023.
