    Eligibility Criteria for NRSC ISRO Recruitment 2026

    Educational Qualification

    Qualification requirements vary by post code and broadly include B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, M.Sc/M.Sc Tech, or B.Sc in disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing & GIS, Geology, Physics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Agriculture-related fields, depending on the specific post code. For JRF posts (JRF30 to JRF35), candidates must additionally hold a valid score in CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE, or have qualified through a national-level examination conducted by agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, or IISER.

    Minimum Marks/CGPA

    • M.E./M.Tech: minimum 60% aggregate or CGPA/CPI of 6.5 (on a 10-point scale)
    • M.Sc/M.Sc Tech: minimum 65% average or CGPA/CPI of 6.84 (on a 10-point scale)
    • B.E./B.Tech: minimum 65% average or CGPA/CPI of 6.84 (on a 10-point scale)
    • B.Sc: minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 6.5 (on a 10-point scale)

    All degrees must be recognized by AICTE/UGC or an equivalent authorized body. Only candidates who have already passed are eligible; those awaiting final results and those who completed courses through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) are not eligible to apply.

    Age is reckoned as on the last date of receipt of online application (21 August 2026). Ex-Servicemen and Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates are eligible for upper age relaxation as per Government of India norms.

    NRSC ISRO Salary Structure 2026

    HRA is payable at prescribed rates if accommodation is not provided. Selected candidates are also eligible for medical benefits and maternity leave (for women candidates) as per NRSC/ISRO rules.

    Selection Process for NRSC ISRO Recruitment 2026

    1. Screening of applications based on eligibility criteria; NRSC may set additional shortlisting criteria
    2. Shortlisted candidates called for Interview before the Selection Committee
    3. Document verification at the time of Interview

    Communication with shortlisted candidates will be made only via registered email. Meeting the minimum qualification does not automatically entitle a candidate to an interview call.

    Scheme of Examination and Syllabus

    There is no separate written examination conducted by NRSC for these posts. For JRF posts (JRF30 to JRF35), candidates must have qualified a national-level test such as CSIR-UGC NET or GATE with a valid score card in the relevant discipline. Selection for all posts is through screening of applications followed by an Interview.

    Registration and Examination Fee

    • Application Fee: ₹250/- (non-refundable) per application, payable online via the BHARATKOSH payment gateway
    • The fee is refunded for Women, SC/ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates, subject to meeting eligibility criteria and participating in the selection process
    • No other mode of payment (cash, cheque, draft, money order, IPO, etc.) is accepted
    • The last date for fee payment is the same as the last date for application submission
