RCFL Apprentice Vacancy Details 2026

Category-wise total: Graduate Apprentices – 145; Technician Apprentices – 105; Trade Apprentices – 76. The grand total is 326 seats, with 177 at Trombay and 149 at Thal.

The advertised training areas and number of seats are indicative and may be changed without prior notice. The management's decision will be final.

Eligibility Criteria for RCFL Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification for the selected apprenticeship area from a recognized University/Institute through a regular full-time course. The qualification and minimum marks vary by training area.

• Graduate Apprentices: Accounts Executive requires B.Com, BBA or graduation with Economics, along with basic English and computer operation knowledge. Secretarial Assistant and Recruitment Executive (HR) require graduation with basic English and computer operation knowledge.
• Technician Apprentices: Diploma in the relevant Engineering discipline — Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechanical.
• Trade Apprentices: B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is required for the specified chemical-plant trades, with Chemistry or Physics as the major subject as applicable. Boiler Attendant, Electrician, Horticulture Assistant and Medical Laboratory Technician require the prescribed 12Th qualification.

The minimum percentage of marks specified in the vacancy tables is 50%. A 5% relaxation in the final selection criteria may be provided to SC/ST and PwBD candidates as per applicable Government guidelines and reservation policy.

Age Limit

The candidate should not be less than 18 years of age as on 01 September 2026. The upper age limit for the advertised training areas is 25 years as on the same date, with applicable relaxations.

• SC/ST: 5 years.
• OBC: 3 years.
• PwBD: 10 years.
• Children/Family members of victims of 1984 riots: 5 years.

Other Eligibility Conditions

• The final qualifying examination must have been passed on or after 01 July 2023.
• Allied branches of Diploma in Engineering are not applicable/acceptable.
• Candidates who have completed Act Apprentice training, have job experience of one year or more, or are pursuing higher studies are not eligible.
• Distance Learning, Part-Time and Correspondence qualifications are not eligible.
• Candidates must apply for only one discipline/trade or area of training. Multiple applications will be rejected.
• B.Sc. candidates with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics are considered for the specified chemical-plant trades according to the major subject stated in the notice.
• Candidates with Biology in graduation having only Zoology or only Botany may apply for Secretarial Assistant or Recruitment Executive (HR), as specified in the notice.

RCFL Apprentice Stipend 2026

The stipend rates are prescribed under the applicable apprenticeship notification. RCF pays its stated component monthly; the BOAT component is disbursed directly by BOAT. RCF also provides morning breakfast, tea and a vegetarian lunch thali during training, subject to the stated facility rules, and OPD medical facilities at RCF Hospital for trainees themselves. Uniform and PPE are provided as per company policy.

Important: RCF Ltd. has no obligation to offer regular employment after completion of apprenticeship, and the apprenticeship does not create a right or claim for regular employment.

Selection Process for RCFL Apprentice Recruitment 2026

1. A merit list is prepared based on the percentage criteria in the prescribed essential educational qualification and applicable reservation.
2. Where CGPA/CPI or grades are awarded, candidates must indicate the equivalent percentage according to the University/Institute norms and produce supporting certification during document verification.
3. Candidates from the merit list are called for Document Verification.
4. Appointment as an Apprentice Trainee is subject to successful document verification and approval of the Apprenticeship Contract on the applicable NATS/NAPS portal.
5. In case of equal marks, the candidate with the higher qualification gets preference; if the qualification is the same, higher marks in the preceding qualification are considered.

Selection/screening is based on the information furnished in the online application. Merely meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection.

Scheme of Examination and Syllabus – RCFL Apprentice Recruitment 2026

The notification does not prescribe a written examination scheme or a separate examination syllabus. Selection is based on the prescribed educational-percentage merit criteria, applicable reservation and subsequent document verification/contract approval.

Registration and Examination Fee – RCFL Apprentice Recruitment 2026

How to Apply for RCFL Apprentice Recruitment 2026?

1. Visit the official RCF website and open the Recruitment section.
2. Select “ENGAGEMENT OF APPRENTICES - 2026-27” and read the advertisement and instructions carefully.
3. For Trade Apprentices, register as required on the NAPS portal. For Technician/Diploma and Graduate/Degree Apprentices, register as a student on the NATS portal.
4. Click “I Accept” and then “Apply Online” on the RCF application page.
5. Select the posting area Trombay or Thal. The selected option cannot be changed later.
6. Keep a scanned passport-size colour photograph in JPG/JPEG format of not more than 75 KB and a signature in JPG/JPEG format of not more than 25 KB.
7. Complete the application and click “SAVE/SUBMIT”.
8. After successful submission, the application form will be generated. Print and retain it for Document Verification; no hard copy is to be sent to RCF.

Online registration is open from 04 September 2026 at 08:00 AM to 20 September 2026 at 05:00 PM.

Documents Required for Document Verification

• Latest passport-size photographs.
• Updated PAN Card and Aadhaar Card.
• Self-operated primary bank account in the candidate's name, excluding Postal Bank accounts; the account must be DBT-enabled and Aadhaar-linked.
• Mark sheets of all years/semesters and passing certificates of the qualifying examination.
• Proof of age such as SSC certificate, Birth Certificate, School Leaving Certificate or Passport.
• SSC, HSC and Graduation leaving certificates with Student ID, as applicable.
• University/Institute certificate for equivalent percentage where applicable.
• Medical Fitness Certificate in the prescribed format.
• SC/ST, OBC (NCL), EWS and 1984-riot-related certificates, wherever applicable.

Training Location and Working Hours

Training is conducted at Trombay, Mumbai or Thal, Raigad District. Candidates must select one posting area while applying. The posting is non-transferable during the apprenticeship period, and transfer requests between units will not be entertained.

Attendance is recorded through a face-recognition-based system using IN and OUT punches. Late attendance may result in proportionate stipend deduction under applicable rules.
